The Crossing is an immersive video installation, partially in Virtual Reality, that follows the story of three refugees trying to cross the Mediterranean sea, in hope to reach the Italian or Greek islands, for a better life in Europe.

The installation was as a joint collaboration between Impact Unified, Bombina Bombast and Skillinge Theatre , where it first premiered in july 2022. It is currently touring in Denmark (spring 2023), Norway (autumn 2023/spring 2024) and Sweden.
